Praise the Lord!
I congratulate the new KUCU leadership on their new posts. It is our prayer that you will serve God and mankind with all the gifts God has given you. I wish to remind you that leadership has never been easy even at the time of Moses, but Jesus being on our side, who can be against us?
May I encourage you with the words in! Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore my dear brothers, stand firm and let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.”
I wish you an enjoyable and fruitful time.

The race is not to the swift or the battle for the strong as the words in Ecclesiastes puts it. We might tend to think that it’s a comfort to the would - be lazy. However, Paul brings out the real meaning as he writes to Corinthians. He goes ahead to ask them “Do you that in a race all the runners compete but only one receives the prize?” The call is clear as he goes ahead to urge them “so run that you may obtain it.”
Even men and women of great talent and energy have to run the complete course before they can claim the victory. To be in front at first turn is meaningless without endurance to finish strongly. The race must be run at a steady pace all the way to the finish. A good runner is even prepared to complete course with a "kick," an extra burst of speed. Athletic talent is of little consequence unless it is matched to adequate endurance.
Likewise the Christian walk will require us to start, endure and complete the course to be victorious. This will only be possible when we learn to put our trust in the lord and not on the road of our experiences.
God bless you all.
