Greetings in the name of our LORD and savior Jesus Christ.
My vision as the KUCU Discipleship Coordinator for this spiritual year 2009/2010 is that there will be consistent, evident growth in the spiritual life of every Christian so that their lives may impact the world around them with Kingdom principles and values, and win souls to Christ for Christ.
This year, as a committee, we endeavor to attain a 100% retainment of all new believers, have effective and life transforming Bible Study, not only studying on the surface but also going in-depth into it by exposition, and promote teaching of sound doctrine in campus.
1 Peter 5:1-3
It is the call of every believer who is considered mature to be a shepherd of God’s flock. May the Lord make a shepherd out of each one of us in KUCU.

In relation to the missions statement of Kenyatta University Christian Union-Discipleship, Evangelism and Mission, the Discipleship committe is the organ that seeks to promote dicipleship to the KUCU community through widening interest in Bible study, nurturing of new believers and organizing the union into small groups based on their residence in campus. The committee has therefore trained students on discipleship, sensitizing members in Bible study as well as exposition of the word of God.
